Welcome to SLORAM
SLORAM (San Luis Obispo Retired Active Men) is a social club established to help men who have retired from full-time employment renew friendships, establish new relationships, and enjoy participation in a variety of programs and activities. We are entirely a social club; we meet for fun and enjoyment, and have no fund-raising, philanthropic, political or religious affiliation. There are two regular SLORAM meetings, our monthly Luncheon and our weekly Coffee Cabinet, both held in the Garden Room at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. Club-sponsored groups meet regularly to enjoy activities such as golf, hiking, wine tasting, a book club, and day-trips to places of interest.
Monthly Luncheon

The monthly Luncheons are held in the Madonna Inn Garden Room. They are held on the third Tuesday of the month. Check in starts at 11:00am and ends at 11:25am so the check-in team can be seated before the meeting starts. The meeting is called to order at 11:30am, concluding at 1:00pm. SLORAM Members and invited guests are welcome.
The next Luncheon meeting is on July 21st. The speaker will be Al Liddicoat, Cal Poly VP/ Provost. Topic: TBD
Menu: Baked Honey Cured Ham, Au Gratin Potatoes, Peach Cobbler
Vegetarian option: Grilled Portobello Mushroom
Weekly Coffee Cabinet

The weekly Coffee Cabinet is every Thursday at the Garden Room of the Madonna Inn. Enter by the ponds and go up the stairs to the right. Members start arriving at 8:00 AM and the meeting starts at 8:30 AM. Attendance is $10 paid at the table. Just drop in, advance notice is not required.
Views expressed by speakers are their own and an invitation to speak does not constitute an endorsement by the SLORAM organization.
