Who We Are

SLORAM (San Luis Obispo Retired Active Men) is a social club established to promote fellowship by helping retired men renew friendships, establish new relationships and enjoy participation in a variety of programs and activities. We meet for fun and enjoyment by offering camaraderie and involvement in broad areas of interest to our members. SLORAM is entirely a social club. We have no fund-raising, philanthropic, political or religious goals or involvement.

There are two SLORAM meetings, the monthly Luncheon and the weekly Coffee Cabinet. There are also many activity groups members can join. Click the Activity Groups link in the top menu for more information. Check the monthly bulletins for details on past and present programs and activities by clicking the Monthly Bulletins button on the Documents page.

Monthly Luncheons

The monthly Luncheons are held in the Madonna Inn Garden Room.  They are held on the third Tuesday of the month. Check in starts at 11:00am and ends at 11:25am so the check-in team can be seated before the meeting starts. The meeting is called to order at 11:30am, concluding at 1:00pm. SLO RAM Members and invited guests are welcome. Luncheon cost is $30.

Weekly Coffee Cabinet

The Coffee Cabinet is held at the Madonna Inn in the Garden Room. Meetings are held every Thursday. They are called to order at 8:30am and adjourned at 9:30 am.

Views expressed by speakers are their own and an invitation to speak does not constitute an endorsement by the SLO RAM organization.
